PinPoint™ for SAP is accessed via a standard web browser and data collection is via an RFC Userid. The key areas of checks and statistics include System Information, Backup and Archive, Core System, Database, Background Processing, ABAP dumps, Interfaces, Applications Servers, Operating System, Workload & Performance, Security, User Management, Transport and Correction and Component Version Information.

Continuous Monitoring and Active Alerting

Pinpoint™ for SAP is also able to provide Continuous Monitoring and Alerting of the most critical objects within your SAP environment such as Interfaces, Business Critical Batch Processes, BI Processes and Loads, IDOC processing, System Availability and Database Status, Please talk to us if you have any other special requirements.

Pinpoint™ Continuous Monitoring makes these checks every 15 minutes and will alert you to any failures or cautions via eMail or Pager.
